If you’re trying to lose weight, then broccoli is sure to be your new best friend. Not only is broccoli a low calorie food, but it’s also high in fiber and water content. That means you’ll feel fuller, longer. Make sure to pile this veggie on as a side dish and you’ll be safe from any late night snacking.

In addition to some great weight loss, broccoli also helps:

  • Fight cancer

  • Improve bone health

  • Improve digestion

  • Protect from chronic diseases

As far as detoxing, broccoli is one of the best veggies out there! Broccoli contains quite a few glycosinolate phytonutrients which help all of the steps during detoxification, including activation, neutralization, and elimination of unwanted contaminants. Basically, broccoli helps get rid of those pesky toxins on a cellular level and allows your body to start functioning at optimal performance levels.

Finally, broccoli helps fight aging with its high concentration of vitamin C. While most people think vitamin C comes from citrus fruits, broccoli actually contains 81 mg of vitamin C in one cup. That’s 90% of your daily dose of vitamin C! This particular vitamin helps protect your skin from the sun and increases collagen production which helps combat wrinkles.

So without further ado, babes, our easy and delicious broccoli recipe!
