We’ve decoded our tea-recipe to share with you the main ingredients inside your Bikini Tea teabag and the benefits of sipping your way skinny.

Be sure to read all the way down to the bottom of the article for a DIY recipe to making your own loose leaf Bikini Tea at home!

Fennel Seed

The fennel seed has been revered for centuries as a sacred herb due to its health benefits. While fennel is primarily used as a weight loss supplement (hello?! that’s why we use it!), this herb also improves eyesight, ails bronchitis, and menopause and contains necessary nutrients such as fiber, vitamin C, and potassium.

Senna Leaf

We like to think of senna as a serious herbal remedy for muffin-top and overall tummy bloat. It contains potent compounds known as anthraquinones which help cause the digestive tract to contract and in essence squeeze your toxins out. These compounds also regulate your intestine’s water intake working as a natural diuretic and making the cleansing of your colon to go a lot more…smoothly.

Ginger Root

If ginger root isn’t already in your daily nutrition regimen, Bikini Cleanse is here to help! This super root has several medicinal properties that make this one of the best supplements of all time. Sometimes when trying a new diet, your stomach may take a few days to adjust. This is the main reason we add ginger to Bikini Tea as it is one of the oldest natural remedies for upset-stomach and nausea relief. Ginger also boosts your immune system, has anti-inflammatory properties, and even reduces ovarian and prostate cancer cells! And you cannot beat its mineral count with high doses of potassium, magnesium, and manganese.

Cinnamon Bark

Most know cinnamon as a common household cooking spice however cinnamon bark is more than just a tasty additive. While cinnamon bark has been known to reduce diseases such as multiple sclerosis and diabetes, cinnamon bark is more commonly used to fight negative impacts of high-fat diets. Additionally, cinnamon thins the blood creating a faster metabolism to work against the fat that is already in the body. What’s not to love about that?

Rose Hip Fruit

Do you love getting a surprise bouquet of roses on your doorstep from a hunky admirerer? Us too! That’s why we added rose hip to our Bikini Tea. Think of this addition to our tea as your nightly flower delivery with added benefits. This fruit is found inside the rose (flower) once the petals have been removed. Rose hip is a major immune booster as a single tablespoon contains more than your daily dose of vitamin C. Rose hip also has high doses of vitamin A, known as the “skin vitamin”. This might just be the best herbal “botox” solution we know of as it helps with skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles.

Spearmint Leaf

We’ve carefully chosen the minty fresh flavor of spearmint to compliment our tea blend but there’s more added benefit than just taste alone. Spearmint leaf contains many vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, folate, iron, and manganese. Spearmint has been known to aid nausea and soothe digestion discomfort, not to mention make your breath better.
