Our latest Bikini testimonial with Katherine R spills her amazzzing results thanks to the Bikini Cleanse right before heading back to the Midwest to visit her family.

BC: How did you first hear about BIKINI CLEANSE?

KR: I found out through a friend of mine.

BC: Was this cleanse for a special occasion or trip?

KR: I had already been following a vigorous meal plan/workout regimen in attempts to losing some weight. I had hit a plateau and was stressing out over the last 10 pounds. I had an upcoming trip home to visit family, so the cleanse was perfect!

BC: What was your health regimen like before the 7-day cleanse? What’s it like now?

KR: Before the cleanse I was eating 5 meals a day, 2-2.5 hours apart: egg whites and ezekiel bread for breakfast, 4 oz. of lean protein and 1 cup green veggies for lunch and dinner, plus an additional meal in between. At night I would have a scoop of Casein powder mixed in water and a scoop of peanut/almond butter. My workout regimen was heavy lifting 6 days a week with a single day of rest. After the cleanse I am back onto this same plan, as the resistance training is providing great results! One thing I’ve noticed since the cleanse is my sensitivity to salt. From not having any for a week, you really start to notice how food is overly salted. This has been a major perk!

BC: How did you feel during the cleanse? What was your biggest obstacles? What was your favorite part?

KR: During the first 4 days I felt great! I lost 5 pounds in the first three days.* My favorite part was a tie between the raspberry drinks and the herbal tea. I definitely have developed a habit of having tea before bed instead of a midnight snack. It helps me fall asleep faster! My biggest obstacle was day 6 and 7. I really had to push through those days and remind myself that I was only a day or two away from a cheat meal. Funny thing is, on the 8th day (my first day off of the cleanse) I had egg whites, unseasoned grilled salmon and a spinach salad with a tsp. of sherry vinaigrette. As much as I thought I would want to cheat, I didn’t.

BC: How much weight did you lose? How many inches?

KR: I lost 7 lbs and 4 inches off my waist!*

BC: How did you feel once the cleanse was over?

KR: I felt great. I felt like I had shed off an unnecessary layer of weight and, more importantly, had rid my body of a ton of toxins.

BC: Can you tell us about your daily routine during the cleanse? What workouts did you do? What recipes did you try? Etc.

KR: During the cleanse I would wake up, have the shake for breakfast, workout out (usually 10 min or so of cardio followed by heavy resistance training), come home and have grilled chicken with asparagus, or salmon over a bed of spinach topped with balsamic vinegar and black pepper. My favorite recipe (that I had almost every night for dinner) was the bikini approved fish tacos. I would add some homemade pico, and smash up 1/4 an avocado to make it have more a guac-feel. Also, on some days, I would add a lemon wedge or two to my raspberry drinks to switch up the flavor. The lemon really compliments the raspberry! There was a day or two where I did hot yoga to switch up my workouts as well. Anything to keep myself from getting bored, but simultaneously staying in a routine.

BC: Is there anything special you want to share with us? Any stories?

KR: On days that I lifted heavy, I would need a protein shake afterwards, so I would switch it up and have egg whites before the gym and the shake afterwards. On those days, I would make my shake, put on my bikini and head out to the pool to soak up some rays. This was a great motivator because the taste of the shake and the heat from the sun make it easy to remember why you’re doing this. You can envision yourself on the beach in a week’s time with your hard earned bikini body!
