Bikini Cleanse Turkey Burger and Avocado Slaw

4th of July might be iconic for fireworks, BBQ and red solo cups, but not to fear bikini babes! If eating well and looking amazing in your bikini is more important than a greasy hotdog, then we have the perfect recipe for you this holiday! Our Bikini Cleanse turkey burger and avocado slaw is to die for and will you keep you in the holiday spirit. Bring this dish along to your party potluck and be the envy of all your friends (as both a master chef and skinny bikini babe). Enjoy!

 

Ingredients

For the burgers

  • 1 lb. ground, organic turkey

  • ¼ organic, red onion, minced

  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ poblano pepper, diced

  • ½ organic red bell pepper, diced

  • 1 tsp. ground cumin

  • ½ tsp. ground red pepper

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil

For the slaw

  • 1 small head of cabbage or bag of cabbage, chopped

  • 2 organic avocados

  • 1 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp. lime juice

  • ½ tsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. ground cumin

  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper

  • Pepper, to taste

 

Directions

  1. For the burgers, add all your ingredients for your burgers in a large bowl.

  2. Shape small burger patties.

  3. Heat up a large skillet under medium heat with the EVOO and add your sliders. Flip after about 3-5 minutes or when you see the sides of your sliders begin to turn a white color or cooked through. Set aside

  4. For the slaw, take your food processor and add all of your ingredients for the slaw other than the cabbage. Pulse until smooth.

  5. Pour your avocado “mayo” on the cabbage and mix. Top off with a pinch of pepper.

  6. Place your cabbage on a plate and top off with your sliders! Yum…
